My co-workers and I are huge fans of "The Office"! Thank you NBC for finally returning our favorite witty and awkwardly funny show to the television screen, now we finally have some new material to laugh about at work! Besides the classic "That's what she said!". Anyways, we decided to have a BBQ and then watch the finale and then the premier. It was a lot of fun, and a big thanks to Brad and Kristin for letting us crash your house and theatre room to watch our favorite show. Honestly, I think I work with the best group of people ever. We are all so close, and there's no drama, which is rare when you have a kabillion girls working together!! I love you guys! Let's do that every week =)

Our New Table....mostly to look at!

When Corey and I got married, my boss gave us his table, since they were getting a new one. We were very grateful at the time, because we couldn't afford much. It was a nice table and it served us great for 3 years, but recently I have been thinking that it's time for a change. While walking thru Down to Earth at Gardner Village, I saw the exact table I have been wanting. So I put it on hold (since it was on clearance) and came home to tell Corey the good news. I couldn't believe it when he told me that I could buy it. When we went to look at it, Corey asked me "Are you as happy as I was when I got my gun?". And of course I said yes. So anyways, it is a beautiful table and I love it. It is a counter height table with four chairs and a bench. I don't know how much we will actually eat on it, since most of you know I don't cook much, but at least it is pleasant to look at. We will probably use it for games more than anything. Anyways, thanks babe for letting me buy it. And don't think that you can use this as an excuse to buy more hunting stuff, because you already own the entire cabelas store =)
By the way, does anyone else think that we need to replace that hideous 80's style light above it? If so, please let Corey know how ugly it is!

Hike up Big Cottonwood
On Friday night Corey and I drove up Big Cottonwood canyon and went for a hike. I haven't been hiking in FOREVER, but it wasn't so bad. The sun was getting close to setting as we arrived at a good spot for Corey to pull out his scope and look for deer (the reason behind the hike). It was a beautiful view from where we were and it was very peaceful! Extremely quiet. I was getting a little nervous because of all the Bear stories you hear about. I was keeping an eye out the entire time, making sure that no bear of mountain lion were creeping up on us. Boys are so funny, I don't quite understand why they love this stuff so much. We didn't see any deer, but it was still good to get out and actually do something somewhat physical.

Fish Lake 2008
So, this past week Corey and I were in Fish Lake for the Bow Hunt!! His entire family on his Mom's side goes, and we stay in trailers and tents! The boys wake up early and go hunting, while the rest of us stay and play games, eat a TON, and go fishing! Fishing is my favorite part, although eating comes in at a close second! I probably gained 5 lbs. while I was down there, but hey it's camping! Corey didn't get a buck or an elk (thank goodness), but his brother Brad did!! It was on the second to the last day, when they told us on the walkie talkie that they got one, all I could say was "please not Corey, please not Corey". I mean I know he loves it, but he got one last year, which meant that we had to watch the video like a bazillion times, have deer meat in our freezer for a year (which stinks something fierce when it is cooked) and the antlers(is that what they are called ?!) sit in your garage forever for you to look at everytime you drive in. I know I should be more supportive, but I just don't like hunting. Anyways, so Brad got one. He took his little boy Tanner who is 8 with him. They were in the middle of the field when Tanner yells "Dad look!!!". He doesn't quite understand you need to be quiet and hold still. Surprisingly, the deer didn't move. Brad said "Don't move". He had his bow at his feet, so he bent down slowly and then shot the deer. They were pretty excited!! I have to say, I absolutely love going to Fish Lake, it is so relaxing and I love going fishing and I never thought I would say that. I even said to Corey on the last day that I wish we were going fishing. Hopefully we will go up sometime in Sept. and go fishing. All in all, it was a Blast!! It is always good to come home though.

All done!!

I finished Breaking Dawn this past week! I wasn't going to make a post about it, but I talked to a friend at church today and decided that I would. I just have to say that it was very bittersweet! Only because I was sad that it was over, but it was a great book! I don't want to say very much because I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say...WOW!! I started reading The Host, and it is very different. I have heard really good things about it so hopefully it gets better.

FOR REAL!!

AND THE WINNER IS.....JOSHUA!! Well it probably comes to no surprise that I love So You Think You Can Dance, but I do!! This season was so incredible, and there were so many amazing preformances. I never took dance, but I absolutely love it. It is such a beautiful artform, hopefully one day I can become somewhat cordinated, but I doubt it. I'm so glad that Joshua won. For being such an untrained dancer, he performed to the best of his ability, which 9 times out of 10 was better than those from that genre. Another great season, with a great outcome!!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
My cousin Kristi posted this on her blog, I didn't even realize that the movie was coming out so soon. CREEPY though!! I actually really liked this book, it was one of my favorites! It definitely looks a lot darker than the others. I don't know what it is but scary little kids creep me out.
