Adventures in Painting

Well, as some of you know Corey was in Turkey for 2 weeks, and I kept myself pretty busy while he was gone (although it didn't make it go by any faster). I had a girl's night out, a movie night, a bunch of us went to a Real Salt Lake game, had a sleepover at my cousin's, but the biggest thing is I painted our house. I have been wanting to do it for a long time, and before Corey left I said "I think I'll paint the house while you are gone!" So I did. I would post pics of it, but I don't think it is a very good idea to post pics of your house. I just did a couple accent walls in our main living space. It is a darker brown that has more of a green tint to it. I was pretty proud of myself, because I was really worried about painting. I like things to be perfect, and I hate when you can tell that a person has painted. I must say though, for the first time painting, I did a pretty darn good job.

"I need to go to my quiet place"

I don't know if many of you have seen this movie(Hot Rod), but it is so funny. If you liked Napolean Dynamite you will like this one. This is one of my favorite parts, I laughed so hard when I saw it the first time.

More pics of Spain

We finally got the rest of our Spain photo's uploaded onto the computer so I thought I would post some more. Spain was absolutely beautiful. We took a ride up to a place called Sagovia and walked thru a castle. It was so old. It had a mote around it and everything (it wasn't filled with water, but it was crazy deep). We walked up this long and winding staircase that led us to the top. I was getting dizzy because honestly it was a tight wind. Once up top it was so beautiful. You could see a great view of the Cathedral on one side and beautiful landscape on the other.

The front of the Castle (it was too big to get in one shot, but it looks the same on the other half).

On top of the Castle looking out towards the Cathedral and city,(above) and the landscape on the other side (Below). It's crazy that on one side of the castle is just tons of city and on the other, is just wide open spaces.

Here are some photo's of the Aqueduct. No mortor was used in building it. It's truly amazing what they did centuries ago in order to get water.

Can I just say I love "Friends"

Ever since Corey and I got our DVR, I have been recording episodes of Friends. I haven't watched them in a long time and I have forgotten how funny they are. I would love to have the complete series. Corey doesn't understand why I need the series when I already have 27 episodes recorded, but it's not the same. They make me smile, anyone who is a "Friends" fan knows what I'm talking about.
