OuR HoMe

I know that it has been over a year since I last posted anything, but what can I say...better LATE then NEVER!!! Corey and I have lived in our home for over a year now and we absolutely love it. It feels like we have been here forever and yet I can't believe it has been over 14 months that we moved in. Here is some photo's of our home. I know that isn't the entire house, but the rest is a work in progress. As soon as I get around to decorating the other rooms, I will post them. We have enjoyed living in the neighborhood/ward that we do and feel so lucky to have been so blessed with such a beautiful home. Hope you enjoyed the photo's. Now that I have my own computer (and I found the cord to my camera) hopefully I can keep you all updated on life. We will hopefully have good news for everyone in the next couple of months as we are planning on doing InVitro pretty soon! I will keep you all updated and keep us in your prayers!

We're ALMOST new homeowners!!

So, I know that I have been really slacking in the updating department, but what can I say, we have been building a house. It has been a lot more work than we anticipated, but it has been worth it after seeing the finished product. Corey and I should be closing on our house this Thursday (fingers crossed), and then we'll be moving in!!! YEAH! So as soon as things settle down a bit, I PROMISE that I will take more photo's of the house and get them posted. Corey and I feel so blessed to be able to build such a beautiful home, and fortunate that we both have jobs, because we are going to need them after all the upgrading Corey let me do....Thanks honey!! So for now, you will have to enjoy this beautiful text, but I will get you some photo's for your enjoyment soon!!

What's been keeping us so BUSY!!

I know it's been a long time since my last post, but Corey and I have been busy with building a home. We purchased a Lot in Bluffdale and the house should be done by the end of the year. We are extremely excited and anxious to get into our new house. Here are some pictures of the progress so far.

Yes, I am Alive!

Ok, I know that it has been MONTHS since I have last posted anything. And as cute as Brielle is, I am sure all of you would like to know what Corey and I have been up to. The last few months have been very uneventful, but we recently took a trip to Florida with Corey's family to visit Disney World. It was so much fun, at it turns out that it was perfect timing since Utah was getting pounded with snow and rain. Anyways, as soon as I get all the pictures from my sister-in-law I PROMISE that we will have some fun pictures for you all to view!

Baby Brielle

Last week my friend Jessica and I went over to see our friends, Bridget and Brian's new baby girl Brielle! She is absolutely beautiful!! I love being able to hold little baby's, they are so very precious!! Congratulations you guys!! We love you!

UPDATE is a comin'

Ok, I know that I am in need of a serious update, but where is the time? Where did this month go???? Actually where did this year go??? I honestly cannot believe that it is almost 2009!! That is crazy! Anyways, I have many pictures that I will post soon, so you all can enjoy them! Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

My newest craving...oh so YUMMY!!

I don't know if you have ever been to Red Mango before....but I highly recommend it. It is my newest obsession!!! If you like yogurt, you will LOVE this! It has kind of a bitter taste, but it's good. The only one they have right now is in Fort Union or at The Energy Solutions Arena, but they are opening more stores in the upcoming months. If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I would probably go everyday. Plus you don't feel as guilty because it is somewhat healthy for you....BONUS!! Anyways, Have a Merry Christmas and go endulge yourself in this wonderful creamy bitter but oh so sweet goodie =)

Twilight

So I know that it has been awhile since I have updated my blog with anything interesting, but what can I say...Life is BUSY!! So I thought I would tell you my thoughts on Twilight. I know that it has been a few weeks since the movie has come out, but hey, better late then never right!! So I went to the movie very open-minded and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. And I have to say that Edward is very good looking at times. I was disappointed as many of you were with the Meadow Scene....totally destroyed it. And they didn't add some of my favorite parts, like the blood testing at school. But all in all, it was very good. I would definitely go see it again. I can't wait to see how the rest of the series plays out. So, if anyone is willing to go see it again, let me know, I am definitely up for it.

Look, I made a craft!

So this last Monday, I spent a couple hours making a craft at my friend Maria's house. Maria posted on her blog that she was going to do a neighborhood craft night, since we have all been begging her to do one (she is honestly the craftiest person I have ever met, she makes the cutest things). Anyways, it was so much fun. Who knew that I could be crafty...well as long as someone has all the tools to do so =). We made these cute blocks that say Joy! It took about 2 1/2 hours, but it was totally worth it. It turned out SOOOOO cute, plus it was fun to chat with some of the cute girls in my ward! So, here it is...aren't ya jealous?!

Happy Halloween!!!

Today at work was so awesome! We decided that we would all dress up like rockers for Halloween. It was a blast and everyone looked so great! My office ROCKS!!!!

Washington D.C. with the Petrini's

Corey and I are in Virginia this week for Corey's work. We are so close to where my cousin Melissa and her family live that we have been able to spend some time with them. Corey and I went to the D.C. Temple on Saturday with Melissa and John. It was so beautiful, and it is always awesome to be able to go to different temples. We would have taken some photo's, but it was pouring rain when we got out. After the temple we went back to their house and had pizza! Their kids are so adorible. On sunday we drove up to their house and went to church with them and then they had us over for dinner! It was delicious (Thanks you guys)!! After dinner we drove into D.C. and we were able to see some of the sites. We saw The Washington Memorial, The World War 2 Memorial and The Lincoln Memorial. We would have went to some more places, but it was getting dark and cold.

Scavenger Hunt and Witch-A-Palooza

Every year Corey's mom and sisters do a Scavenger Hunt at Gardner Village with the grand kids. They have different clues that lead them to specific stores, and then they get a bag full of stuff from that store. It is a lot of fun! This year was different though. After the Scavenger Hunt all of us girls went to the Dinner Theatre program at The Gathering Place called Witch-A-Palooza. It was a blast! The whole audience at times were out of their seats and dancing and singing. It was a lot of fun. And the food was great too.

RSL Game!

Last Thursday a few of my co-workers and I went to the very first RSL game in the new Rio Tinto Stadium. It was a blast, but VERY cold of course. The stadium is way nice. I didn't watch most of the game because my co-worker Megan and I were too busy "HAT watching". I don't know if it was just around us but for some reason, people were wearing the weirdest hats. I must not have got that memo. Check these out




So, anyways we had a good time. I don't know how many games we will actually go to because as Corey puts it "Soccer is not very action packed". I would be up to go to more games, but next time I will be dressing warmer, and maybe pack some of those nifty hand warmer things. I bought some Hot Chocolate at the game, it tasted good, but the best part was it was keeping my hands from freezing!
