Washington D.C. with the Petrini's

Corey and I are in Virginia this week for Corey's work. We are so close to where my cousin Melissa and her family live that we have been able to spend some time with them. Corey and I went to the D.C. Temple on Saturday with Melissa and John. It was so beautiful, and it is always awesome to be able to go to different temples. We would have taken some photo's, but it was pouring rain when we got out. After the temple we went back to their house and had pizza! Their kids are so adorible. On sunday we drove up to their house and went to church with them and then they had us over for dinner! It was delicious (Thanks you guys)!! After dinner we drove into D.C. and we were able to see some of the sites. We saw The Washington Memorial, The World War 2 Memorial and The Lincoln Memorial. We would have went to some more places, but it was getting dark and cold.

ah, thanks you guys...it's been so fun having you here too, and I believe Shari should be on her way to my house right now for some serious girl-time while our hubbys work. :)

So much fun. I have been many places, but DC is one I haven't made it to and would love to go. It looks like you had fun, and what wonderful pictures. The DC temple is on my list as well, one of these days we'll get there.
